Creature of the night
take me away
Make this pain stop
Make it all go away

Take my breath away
Make my lungs stop
and my Heart beat it's last

I can't stand the light

that causes so much pain

in the Rain

Standing on the roof

Watching as the rain pours down

Hearing the pitter patter

as it tings off the roof tops

Drowning out the thoughts in my head

Looking to the sky as the rain blankets the ground

Hoping to wash the pain and fear away.

I bent till I broke

I hid my self till iwas nothing more hten a shell

A darkness of what use to be me

This light that I had is gone now

Put out by the hatefull words you say.

I’m not good enough I don’t try enough

Nothing I do is good enough for you – I could give you the moon

And all the stars in the sky

But it still wouldnet be enough.. so why even try?

It’s all about you- and how bad your life is

I have to be the rock for you the punching bag for your rage

But when I need a hand you just push me away

It’s a toxic relationship… full of hatred and doubt.

I never ment enough to you – for you to try and reach out

So I lay here on the floor –forgotten and tosses aside

But I will rise again.. let the water wash away the blood and the pain.

I’ will not bend I will not break I will not be your mistake

And when I find the one who loves me more then you do

I will out shine all the stars in the sky.. and when you see the twinkling light

Through the darkest of nights

You will remember what you gave up… as the rain pours down
